Kruz Schoolcraft
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
The foundation is a starter's foundation: a large left-handed body, a fastball that has reached the upper 90s, a potentially plus changeup, and a slider with enough power to become average or better. The immediate developmental obstacle is strike throwing, as the 2026 walk total and WHIP indicate that present command is behind the quality of the raw arsenal. If his delivery remains synchronized and he can move the fastball to both sides while protecting the changeup, he has a realistic path to a durable mid-rotation role. If the control remains below average or the slider does not sharpen, the floor is a power-oriented bullpen or back-end starter profile rather than a high-end rotation outcome.
