Cody Bowker
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
The fastball's unusual ride and visual deception give Bowker a legitimate foundation, and the changeup has enough depth and arm-speed maintenance to keep a starting path open. His floor is a fastball/changeup-oriented bullpen role if the low-slot delivery prevents consistent strike throwing or if the cutter and slider remain too similar to give hitters distinct looks. He currently profiles conservatively as a potential back-of-the-rotation starter, with durability, fastball command, and continued secondary-pitch separation determining whether he reaches that outcome.
