Aaron Walton
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Walton has a credible path to a major-league corner-outfield role because the package includes above-average running ability, enough arm strength for left field, developing game power, and a demonstrated capacity to reach base. The ceiling is a second-division everyday left fielder if the 2026 offensive gains hold and the hit tool improves enough to keep pitchers from exploiting his swing-and-miss. The floor is a bench or up-and-down outfielder whose speed and defensive flexibility create value while the bat determines his roster status. His next developmental test is sustaining contact and decision quality against upper-level pitching without sacrificing the aggressiveness that produces his power and stolen bases.
