Andrew Benintendi
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Benintendi projects as a below-average major league left fielder entering final years of decline phase. Most realistic projection involves repositioning to designated hitter role where his offensive limitations become less critical and lower body issues have minimal impact. Unlikely to return to form that characterized his best seasons with Boston and Kansas City. Remaining value likely concentrated in occasional performances against specific opponents or in limited role rather than as consistent contributor. Career trajectory suggests current ability represents near-floor rather than floor with potential for significant bounce-back.
