Bailey Falter
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Solid fourth or fifth starter depth option with potential high-leverage bullpen role if rotation spot unavailable. Success contingent on maintaining excellent command and extended usage of high-zone fastball approach. Best case represents sustained low-3s ERA as back-end rotation starter or versatile multi-inning reliever. Ceiling substantially limited by lack of strikeout generation and absolute velocity. Will succeed through execution and deception rather than overpowering stuff. Conservative evaluation warranted given age and minimal likelihood of significant physical improvement.
