Hayden Senger
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Given age, track record, and tool set, he profiles most realistically as a defensively oriented backup catcher who can shuttle between MLB and Triple-A. Defense should remain good enough in the near term to justify a 26-man spot when a club prioritizes run prevention and staff management. Offensive output is likely to remain below league average even for the position, limiting his ceiling to a glove-first option used selectively. If the bat backs up further, he could settle into more of an organizational depth role who sees sporadic big-league time when injuries hit.
