Justin Hagenman
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Justin Hagenman projects as a durable middle-innings relief arm capable of bulk innings and occasional spot starting. His unique arm slot and pitch mix should continue to generate strikeouts, particularly against right-handed opponents. While his velocity does not suggest a high-leverage role, his strike-throwing ability and arsenal depth position him as a valuable depth piece in a bullpen. The crossfire mechanics and deception should allow him to maintain productivity across future seasons in a similar role. At age 28 with his current profile, he represents a floor outcome of fringe major leaguer and ceiling of solid established relief pitcher in the fourth or fifth tier of team bullpens.
