Taylor Trammell
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Trammell projects as a backup outfielder or career minor league player at this stage. The elite athleticism that made him a first-round prospect has not overcome fundamental hitting difficulties that have persisted across multiple organizations and coaching staffs. His best case scenario is as a fourth or fifth outfielder who can contribute occasional offense against specific matchups and provide speed on the basepaths. Given his age and consistent major league struggles, significant improvement seems unlikely. He may have additional value in a Triple-A talent pool role where he can occasionally fill in due to injury but does not represent a productive everyday player path forward.
