Caleb Kilian
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Now profiles as a late-inning right-handed reliever with a fastball/curveball foundation and enough slider/cutter usage to keep hitters from sitting on one shape. The stuff spike and current 2026 effectiveness give him a chance to hold a setup-quality role if the command stabilizes at fringe-average. Walk history and lack of a reliable third bat-missing pitch against both sides cap the ceiling more in the solid middle-relief to occasional setup band than a true lockdown closer. Age and limited projection suggest he is closer to a finished product, with improvements coming more from continued command refinement than new stuff gains.
