Ryan Rolison
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Reclamation project with limited but meaningful upside potential if coaching intervention proves effective addressing fastball mechanics, command consistency, or arsenal design. Most realistic outcome is functional back-end reliever capable of low-leverage innings if slider and curveball can be optimized through proper usage. Durability concerns from injury history represent significant risk factor. Given age, recent performance, and developmental history, probability of substantial productive value substantially lower than would be expected for first-round pick. Low-cost organizational depth gambit rather than prospect acquisition with significant expected return.
