Scouting summary
Richie Palacios projects as a depth/utility piece for major league organization. His combination of contact skills, speed, and positional versatility provides value as a complementary player, particularly in situations requiring left-handed bat off the bench or in platoon arrangements. Size and limited power ceiling constrain ceiling. Most likely outcome is continued reserve role providing defensive flexibility and occasional starts, particularly against right-handed pitchers. At best, could settle into role as super-utility player seeing 400-500 plate appearances annually. Ceiling capped by lack of dominant offensive tool and lack of consistent full-time performance track record at this age. Does not appear to have all-star caliber tools required to be building block moving forward.
