Hunter Gaddis
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Gaddis projects as reliable high-leverage relief pitcher capable of producing 3.5-4.0 ERA outcomes in sustainable role as setup reliever or occasional closer. His slider remains genuinely effective weapon, but overall skill set lacks explosive dominant characteristics of truly elite relievers. Most likely scenario involves continued bullpen deployment with Cleveland or potential trade destination, functioning as valuable organizational depth rather than ace-level arm. Barring significant velocity gains or command improvements, ceiling represents solid relief contributor rather than Cy Young contender. Durability supports multi-year utility as 27-year-old reliever with appropriate expectations for back-of-rotation bullpen effectiveness.
