Lucas Knowles
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
The most realistic path is as a left-handed middle or matchup reliever who survives through strike throwing, deception, and a usable slider rather than overpowering hitters. His fastball velocity is below typical major-league starter standards, and the injury history makes a durable rotation projection especially difficult, even though the four-pitch repertoire and past command support some relief flexibility. If the slider remains his best offering and he maintains average-or-better control, he can compete for an up-and-down bullpen role; diminished stuff, health setbacks, or ordinary fastball life would leave him organizational depth.
