Dylan Dodd

Pitching scouting report · 80Grade

Scouting summary

Dylan Dodd projects as a reliable left-handed relief pitcher in a middle relief capacity for the Atlanta Braves organization. His elite command combined with multiple average pitches provides sufficient foundation for sustained major league contribution in low-to-moderate leverage situations. At age 27 entering 2026, he occupies appropriate age parameters for professional relief pitcher. His ceiling represents a quality, durable relief pitcher capable of multi-inning appearances and baseline effectiveness rather than a prospect with significant upside trajectory. The transformation from unsuccessful starter to effective reliever demonstrates the value of role optimization, and his continued contribution depends on maintaining health and consistent execution in relief contexts.
