Will Johnston
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Johnston projects as a professional relief pitcher or long reliever with realistic major league ceiling consistent with late-round draft pick profile. His improved command, developing changeup, and demonstrated bullpen effectiveness suggest a pathway to professional contribution in limited-appearance contexts. Success will depend on continued refinement of secondary pitches, maintenance of strike-throwing improvements, and ability to execute game plans against professional hitters without overwhelming velocity or movement characteristics.
