Cayden Wallace

Scouting summary
Wallace’s 2026 offensive rebound keeps a major-league path open, but the most supportable projection is a versatile corner-infield reserve who can cover third base and second base while contributing against favorable matchups. His compact swing, improved contact, and emerging game power give him a chance to outperform that floor if the new quality of contact proves durable. The ceiling is a second-division regular at third base, but defensive fringiness and an aggressive approach create a narrower margin for error. Continued strike-zone improvement and reliable defensive execution are the clearest routes to a sustained role.
