Émilien Pitre
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Pitre has the shape of a useful second-division or utility infielder because the bat-to-ball feel, zone control, and speed give him multiple ways to contribute. His offensive ceiling is tied to whether he can keep enough contact quality against pro pitching to avoid becoming a bat-first, low-impact middle infielder. If the hit tool holds near average and the on-base skill translates, he can play regularly at second base with some value on the bases; if the power remains light and the strikeout rate climbs, he settles into a multi-position bench role. The defensive foundation should keep him in the conversation, but the bat will determine whether he is a regular or a versatile support piece.
