Kala'i Rosario
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Rosario has enough raw power to remain relevant as a corner-outfield prospect, and his 2025-26 production confirms that the power is showing up in games rather than existing only in batting practice. The central question is whether he can reduce the strikeouts enough for the power and walks to support an MLB roster role, because his defensive limitations and right-handed corner profile leave little room for a low-contact offensive outcome. The likely ceiling is a platoon or fourth-outfielder role with occasional power impact, while the floor is an upper-minors bat who struggles to force a sustained opportunity. A path to the majors requires improved zone coverage, more reliable left-field defense, and continued performance against right-handed pitching.
