Patrick Reilly
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Reilly’s best path to the majors is as a power arm whose fastball quality and secondary stuff can play in shorter stints, especially if the post-surgery command never fully stabilizes. Before the elbow injury, he showed enough strikeout ability to look like a possible starter on pure stuff, but the walk totals, homer issues, and rehab uncertainty push the floor down. If the fastball returns with its prior velocity band and he lands the breaker for strikes more consistently, he could handle multi-inning relief and perhaps spot starts. The most realistic outcome is a bullpen piece with up-down risk, while a true rotation role would require a meaningful step forward in command and health.
