LuJames Groover
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Groover projects as a productive bench player or versatile utility infielder capable of posting 150+ hits annually with consistent batting averages near .300 and 50-75 walks depending on plate appearances. His floor is a capable part-time option who can contribute as defensive specialist and contact-oriented batter. Ceiling is limited by modest power and below-average speed unless he develops into an anomalous high-average-low-power everyday contributor. Most likely destination is second or first base with part-time at-bats due to limited defensive elite positioning. Could provide value similar to Wilmer Flores profile if he reaches majors.
