Kemp Alderman
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Alderman's path is built around carrying power rather than a complete offensive skill set. The strength is real enough to give him a chance to impact a major-league lineup, but the hit tool, chase tendency, and limited defensive range make the margin for error narrow. Continued improvement in swing decisions and more consistent elevation could produce a second-division regular at first base or a power-oriented corner role; without those gains, he is more likely to settle into a depth, platoon, or up-and-down profile. The floor is constrained by the defensive spectrum, while the ceiling depends on the 60-grade raw power playing regularly.
