Alonzo Tredwell
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
The underlying profile is a very large right-hander with a playable riding fastball, a potentially average-or-better curveball and enough secondary variety to remain viable in multiple roles. His professional track record has included competent stretches, but shoulder, back and elbow concerns, inconsistent season completion and the severe 2026 walk rate have pushed the likely path toward relief. If his shoulder recovery restores the 92-94 mph range and he can get back to even below-average strike throwing, the fastball-curveball combination can support a middle-relief or matchup role. The floor is a short-lived upper-minors arm, while the more realistic ceiling is a multi-inning reliever who earns intermittent major-league opportunities.
