Josh Grosz
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Grosz has a realistic path to a major-league bullpen role because the four-seam fastball and slider can both miss bats, and the changeup gives him more than a strict two-pitch relief profile. The floor is an up-down or long-relief arm if the fastball command remains ordinary and the 2026 traffic and home-run problems persist. A durable, multi-inning role is more attainable than a traditional rotation job unless he improves his ability to repeat the low-slot release and consistently locate the fastball at the top of the zone. If the slider remains tight and the changeup continues to neutralize lefties, he could become a useful middle-relief or spot-start option.
