Termarr Johnson
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Realistic outcome is an everyday or strong second-division second baseman who gets on base, hits for moderate power, and holds his own defensively. Offensive value should be driven by OBP and tough at-bats, with occasional seasons of 15-plus homers when swing decisions and timing are in sync. There is still some upside for an above-average regular if his contact quality and approach against upper-level arms tighten further, but recent performance suggests tempering expectations from earlier star-level forecasts. Floor is a bat-first utility/bench type who can spot start at second and possibly handle shortstop in a pinch, providing left-handed on-base skills off the bench.
