Nick Morabito
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Morabito projects as a speed-driven role player whose path to sustained MLB time comes from on-base utility, base-stealing value, and adequate corner-outfield defense. The ceiling is tied to whether the hit tool can remain playable against upper-level velocity and whether he can keep enough line-drive authority to avoid being pinned as a pinch-runner type. His floor is a fringe up-and-down outfielder if the bat lags and the power never reaches enough for everyday consideration. Given the current offensive shape, the most realistic outcome is a bench outfielder who can cover left field and change games with his legs.
