PJ Morlando
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Morlando still fits as a power-forward corner outfield prospect whose value will depend on enough contact to let the raw pop play in games. The left-handed bat and strike-zone feel give him a path to becoming an everyday regular if the hit tool settles into a more playable range, but the current pro performance suggests that outcome is not yet the most likely one. More realistically, he profiles as a second-division left fielder who can draw walks and provide middle-of-the-order damage in stretches, with the ceiling tied to whether the bat speed and pitch recognition eventually meet more consistently.
