Chase DeLauter

Scouting summary
Ceiling projects as middle-of-order right fielder with 35+ home run potential, provided durability can be maintained. Could be productive everyday player against right-handed pitching. More likely trajectory is strong-side platoon bat early in career against right-handers only, with potential to expand role if mechanical adjustments prove effective against breaking balls. Given injury history and small MLB sample, must be considered high-risk, high-reward prospect. Timeline for impact is uncertain due to injury setbacks and lack of stretched professional experience. Organization appears committed to getting him extended major league opportunities if health permits.
