Nolan Perry
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Perry has moved from a late-round developmental arm into a credible starting-pitching prospect because the post-rehabilitation fastball now sits in the 93-95 range and the slider and curve both miss bats. The four-pitch foundation gives him a path to a rotation role, but the splitter still needs more consistent shape and location, and his command must hold as innings accumulate. The conservative outcome is a back-end starter or multi-inning relief role, with a chance to settle into a No. 5 rotation spot if he proves durable and maintains his 2026 velocity across a full workload.
