Jonny Farmelo
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Projects as an above-average regular if the hit tool settles near average and he continues to tap into his power while holding plus speed in center field. More conservative outcome is a solid second-division or strong fourth outfielder who moves around the grass and offers left-handed thump off the bench. Development hinges on continued progress with swing decisions, contact quality, and defensive instincts in center. Given age, athleticism, and makeup, he has a realistic path to an everyday role, though the margin for error shrinks if contact rates do not improve.
