Dante Nori
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Given his first-round pedigree, plus speed and up-the-middle defensive value, Nori projects as an everyday center fielder if the hit tool and on-base skill hold against better pitching. His likely offensive ceiling is a top-of-the-order profile with solid batting averages, strong walk rates and modest power, with overall value driven by defense, baserunning and table-setting rather than slugging. The floor is a fourth outfielder who can defend center, pinch-run and provide left-handed contact off the bench if the bat stalls at fringe levels. To reach the everyday outcome, he must maintain his contact rates as he faces more velocity and spin while finding a way to add enough gap power to keep pitchers honest without sacrificing his core strengths.
