Currently projects as a starting pitcher with a back-of-rotation ceiling due to limited third pitch development and command consistency. The plus fastball-above average slider foundation provides a floor of middle relief value if starter path does not materialize. Significant development checkpoint will occur over next 12-18 months as he progresses through upper minors. Much depends on ability to stabilize command and develop reliable changeup. If everything clicks, could become solid rotational starter. More likely outcome is middle reliever with periodic spot starting opportunities. Long-term potential heavily weighted toward back-end starter profile at best.
