Tucker Musgrove
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Musgrove projects as a pitcher-first pro with enough athletic background to understand the game, but his position-player ceiling is limited by the lack of a standout bat tool. If the arm strength continues to hold and the strike-throwing improves, he can carve out value on the mound more realistically than in the lineup. As a hitter, the most plausible outcome is a fringe-average bat with modest power, which would not be enough for an everyday role unless several things clicked at once. The overall ceiling is modest, but the arm gives him a path to remain in the system as a useful depth piece.
