Sterling Patick
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
As an 18th-round pick with pedestrian stuff, Patick projects as a fringe professional pitcher with most likely outcome being relief work. His best-case scenario involves developing into a fourth or fifth starter through improved command and refinement of his slider, but the below-average fastball velocity and weak changeup limit his ceiling significantly. Most probable outcome is long reliever or occasional starter who shuttles between minor and major league levels.
