Kade Snell
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
High-floor bat-first outfielder with potential to serve as reserve outfielder or platoon player at major league level. Most probable outcome involves career as bench bat, left-field-only player, or pinch-hitter leveraging elite college contact skills. Ceiling limited by lack of speed, power, range, and athletic tools. Must demonstrate substantial improvement from current professional performance trajectory to reach even modest ceiling of reserve outfielder. Development pathway requires: (1) immediate stabilization of strikeout rate back toward college levels, (2) establishment of consistent contact production at professional level, (3) potential refinement of swing plane toward increased loft for power development, (4) organizational patience with extended development timeline. Downside risk exists if current professional performance proves indicative of longer-term struggles rather than temporary adjustment period.
