Aidan Foeller
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Given his 11th-round pedigree, power fastball, and high strikeout rates, Foeller projects most realistically as a bullpen arm who can miss bats but will need command gains to hold a stable major league role. The ceiling is that of a middle-innings or multi-inning reliever who leverages a lively heater and a workable breaker, with the floor closer to an organizational depth arm if the walks do not come down. To reach the higher outcome, he must tighten his delivery, harness the fastball to the edges instead of just velocity, and continue to refine a usable third pitch to keep lefties honest. Age-relative-to-level and current strikeout production give some optimism, but the long-term path likely runs through a relief conversion where his stuff can play up in shorter stints and the command issues are less exposed.
