Braylon Whitaker

Scouting summary
Whitaker projects as a low-impact, contact-and-speed oriented outfielder who can help by getting on base, running, and handling an outfield corner at a functional level. His best path to value is to keep the walk rate intact, maintain enough bat-to-ball skill to avoid prolonged contact collapses, and add just enough strength to turn more of his line drives into extra-base damage. The ceiling is limited unless the bat speed improves, because the current power output is light for an outfield profile and there is not obvious present carrying raw. If the on-base skills hold against better pitching, he can reach the majors as a bench outfielder; if the contact quality stalls, he is more likely to top out as upper-level organizational depth.
