Truitt Madonna

Scouting summary
Given his age, position, and physical maturity, Madonna’s most realistic path is as a depth catching prospect who will need significant development time to keep advancing. The carrying hope is that his physical strength and flashes of game power eventually pair with enough contact ability to form a low-end offensive profile acceptable for a backup catcher. However, present contact issues and limited athletic projection create a narrow lane; he likely must stick behind the plate and reach near his defensive ceiling to sniff the majors. Absent substantial improvements in bat-to-ball skill and approach over the next few seasons, he projects more as organizational depth, but his youth and physical tools leave a small window for a modest role if everything clicks.
