Cristhian Tortosa
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Tortosa looks like a depth lefty whose best path is to improve enough command to work in a short-stint relief role, with a fringe chance to remain stretched out if the strike-throwing stabilizes. The stuff is workable but not loud, and the recent statistical volatility reinforces that the floor is tied closely to his ability to keep the ball in the zone. If the walk rate remains elevated, the profile trends toward an org arm; if he tightens the command and gets more consistent slider finish, he could function as a low-leverage bullpen option.
