Robinson Ortiz
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Given age, build, and current stuff, he projects most realistically as a left-handed middle reliever or situational option who can work short stints against pockets of left-handed and lower-order right-handed bats. The fastball–slider combo gives him enough weapons to compete in that role if he can nudge the command toward fringe-average. Starter projections are unlikely without a substantial leap in strike throwing and changeup quality. More probable outcome is a depth bullpen arm who may shuttle between Triple-A and the majors depending on need and consistency.
