Jhostynxon Garcia
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Garcia's carrying trait is right-handed power, supported by a strong frame, bat speed, and repeated evidence that he can reach the 100-plus mph exit-velocity range. The question is whether the contact and decision-making improve enough against advanced breaking stuff for that power to play regularly rather than in bursts. His arm and workable outfield movements preserve a path to a corner-outfield bench or platoon role, especially if he continues to damage left-handed pitching. The conservative ceiling is a second-division corner bat, while the more likely outcome is an up-down or bench player unless the hit tool takes another step.
