Wilber Dotel
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Dotel projects as either a back-of-the-rotation starting pitcher or high-leverage relief arm depending on continued sequencing refinement and execution. Elite velocity combined with three above-average to plus pitches provides foundation for extended major league career. Most probable 2026 assignment to Triple-A Indianapolis with potential major league debut in relief or limited-inning starter role thereafter. Success at Triple-A will determine whether starter path remains viable or relief specialization becomes more appropriate long-term role.
