Jarlin Susana
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Susana’s premium velocity and bat-missing slider give him a legitimate path to a major-league rotation, with a ceiling around a solid mid-rotation starter if he can sustain his stuff and improve location. His history of uneven control, a less dependable third pitch, and the challenge of maintaining velocity deeper into outings create meaningful relief risk. Continued gains in slider command and a usable changeup would support a starter role; without more consistent strike-throwing, his fastball-slider combination could fit better in shorter relief.
