Johanfran Garcia

Scouting summary
Garcia has the offensive ingredients to reach the majors if the bat remains impact-oriented, but the defensive and physical questions keep the ceiling in check. The combination of right-handed pull power, enough contact ability to survive, and a catching profile gives him a path to a backup role with occasional bat-driven value. If the receiving and mobility hold enough for him to stay behind the plate, he could push toward a bat-first second catcher outcome; if the defense slips, the offensive bar rises sharply and the margin gets thin. The most likely outcome is a bench catcher who can provide innings and some power in short bursts.
