Eliazar Dishmey
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Given a live arm, four usable pitches and improving strike-throwing, Dishmey projects most realistically as a flexible multi-inning relief option with a chance to spot start. The fastball quality and groundball potential provide a foundation, but the secondaries and command probably settle in the fringe-average band, limiting a true mid-rotation ceiling. His youth relative to level and year-over-year improvement leave open a path to back-end starter outcomes if the changeup and command take a step forward. More likely he becomes an up-down long reliever who can bridge innings, with the bullpen conversion allowing his fastball to play at the upper end of the band. Continued physical maturation and refinement of his breaking ball shapes will determine whether he can exceed that role.
