Daniel Guerra
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Guerra has a legitimate chance to reach the majors because the fastball velocity, size, and strikeout ability provide a workable foundation for a bullpen role. The developmental path is likely to emphasize sharpening the slider, preserving the cutter as a change-of-look offering, and simplifying the attack so his command plays up in shorter outings. A return to starting cannot be ruled out given his 2026 workload, but the combination of limited upper-level experience, ordinary WHIP, and walk volatility points more conservatively toward a middle-relief or up-and-down outcome.
