Jacob Humphrey
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Projects as a speed-and-defense driven center fielder whose everyday value will hinge on maintaining an average hit tool and strong on-base profile. If the bat holds near recent performance levels with modest strikeout rates and solid walk production, he can fit as a second-division everyday CF or quality 4th outfielder. Lack of power and modest physical projection cap the ceiling, raising the bar for his contact and plate discipline to remain steady as he climbs levels. His speed, defense, and makeup provide a stable floor as at least an up-down or bench OF with impact potential as a late-inning runner and defender.
