Wilder Dalis

Scouting summary
Given his age-relative-to-level production and late-sign background, Dalis profiles as an interesting developmental infielder more than a surefire everyday regular. The combination of contact skills, emerging gap power, and enough athleticism to handle a middle-infield spot give him a path to a utility or up-down role if the bat continues to track. To reach even a second-division regular ceiling, he would need his game power to creep toward average while sharpening his reads and reliability on the dirt. More realistically, incremental gains in strength and approach could make him a versatile switch-hitting infield option who shuttles between Triple-A and the majors. The wide range of outcomes reflects both his limited track record and the absence of a truly carrying plus tool at present.
