Yandel Ricardo
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Ricardo projects as a utility infielder or bench player at best given current trajectory, though outcomes range from second-division everyday player if hitting develops to quad-A prospect if struggles continue. The massive gap between his .342 ACL performance and .212 Low-A results creates uncertainty about true competitive level. His athleticism, defensive tools, and arm strength provide a reasonable floor, but hit tool development and power potential will determine whether he becomes an everyday contributor. Success requires significant improvement in plate discipline and pitch selectivity at higher levels.
