Yhoiker Fajardo
Pitching scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Fajardo’s starter projection is supported by a three-pitch mix, a history of throwing strikes, and meaningful velocity gains as he has added strength. The slider is his clearest potential out pitch, while the fading changeup gives him a credible answer to left-handed bats; the fastball is playable but has not consistently shown standout movement. He has a plausible path to a back-end rotation role if he holds command and durability against upper-level hitters, with a bullpen fallback if the fastball remains hittable or the mix loses effectiveness deeper into starts.
