Maykel Coret
Hitting scouting report · 80Grade
Scouting summary
Coret projects as a high-ceiling prospect whose ultimate outcome hinges on whether he can develop sufficient hit tool maturity to consistently access his elite raw power. Best-case scenario involves a legitimate five-tool center fielder with power-speed combination. Realistic scenario projects an everyday center fielder with 20+ home run potential if hit tool develops to average range. Risk scenario involves a player whose hit tool never sufficiently matures, potentially limiting him to a bench or platoon role. His young age and athletic foundation support optimism, but considerable development still required.
